China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair (hereinafter referred to as CIEF ) is a brand event with innovative, platform-type, open and hub-type international innovation and entrepreneurship achievements under the guidance of national entrepreneurship and innovation strategy.

It is co-organized by the China Association for Science and Technology, National Development and Reform Commission, Chinese Academy of Engineering, Central Committee of Jiusan Society, People's Government of Guangdong Province and People's Government of Guangzhou.

The event will focus on cutting-edge high-tech industries at home and abroad this year, such as artificial intelligence, next-generation information technology, new energy, new materials, bio-medicine and smart cars.

250 projects participate in this year's innovation fair were organized by more than 150 foreign science and technology enterprises, innovation carriers, science and technology associations and scientific research institutions from more than 20 countries, including Israel, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Australia, Germany and France. These countries are unique and distinctive in the field of international entrepreneurship and innovation.

Among them, Israel, known as the "Global Innovation Country", has been attracting much attention. In this exhibition, 40 Israeli innovation projects organized and invited by China Israel Exchange Center/ China Jizhi (Guangzhou) Technology Co., Ltd. will come to show their remarkable results.

On the morning of June 21, China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair 2019 and “Creating China” Guangzhou Session 2019 were officially launched.

At the launching ceremony, 10 representatives of the holders of the innovative entrepreneurship projects that have reached the landing or trading intention exchanged the contract text with the representatives of the project partners. Among them, ARCadia, an augmented reality BIM platform recommended by China Israel Exchange, is one of the first round of financing intention signing companies.

On the morning of June 21, Huai Jinpeng - the party secretary, executive vice chairman, the first secretary of the Secretariat of of China Association for Science and Technology, Cong Bin - the vice chairman of the Central Committee of the JiuSan Society, Wen Guohui - the deputy secretary of the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee, the mayor of Guangzhou, Wang Dong - the deputy mayor of Guangzhou, and the relevant leaders and guests visited the Israel Pavilion, focusing on the ARCadia, a BIM platform that combined AR augmented reality. They expressed a high degree of recognition and approval to the project. Ms. Shirly, Commercial Consul of the Consulate General of Israel in Guangzhou, was also invited to the exhibition.

In recognition of individuals/teams/enterprises/associations/institutions that have developed the most investment-valued scientific and technological achievements in strategic emerging industries, encourage all industries to focus on investment in technological innovation and deliver more to strategic industries such as high-tech. Innovative products and cutting-edge technologies, International Data Group and the China Innovation, the committee of CIEF, IDG Asia Incubator Center, IDC, National Business Daily, 21st Century Business Herald, and investors etc. jointly selected The Best Investable Scientific and Technological Achievement and held commendation ceremony in CIEF.

ARCadia, the recommended project of China Israel Exchange, has become one of the winners of The Best Investable Scientific and Technological Achievement. In order to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship projects to participate in CIEF, encourage innovative and entrepreneurial organizations, units and individuals to organize excellent high-quality scientific and technological resources for display through a diversified mechanism, expand the industry field, increase the participation of CIEF, and further promote the trading of technological achievements, provide a better communication opportunity and promotion platform for the commended “double creation” technology associations and innovative service organizations, the committee of CIEF launched the "2019 China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair Excellent Organization" selection activity. 

Based on the outstanding performance during the preparation and implementation of CIEF, China Israel Exchange was awarded the “2019 China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair Excellent Organization” .

During CIEF, Israeli companies were invited to participate in roadshow of excellent projects. These companies are all innovations from different fields in Israel. Their wonderful demonstrations received enthusiastic comments from the guests and audiences present. 

CIEF is indeed a good platform for bringing together innovative technologies, talents and resources, and opening up the “last mile” of the docking of innovations.
