Dexteris Robotics is developing fruit picking robots based on the core strengths of robotic visual recognition and brain technology, combined with precise robot control, fast image processing and advanced algorithms to identify and sort and pick fruits. The data is collected and analyzed to improve the work of the manual pickers and reduce the cost of the farmers.
Dexteris, China Israel Jizhi Technology, and South China Agricultural University jointly set up “China-Israel Agricultural Picking Robot International Joint R&D Center”. The international cooperation project will seek investment and industrial partners in China, establish a joint venture company to achieve future industrial integration, and launch the construction of the “Agricultural Picking Robot Fund” in the same period.
